Ex university library hardback bound in quarter blue leather with gilt titles, leather on spine faded so has lost all blue colour, 5 raised bands on spine, boards and leather rubbed and worn at edges, marbled endpapers, silk bookmark, name on half title page, library stamp on title page and rear endpaper, pencil annotations in text. xxiv + 552 pages, 4 colour illustrations on plates by M. Henri Allouard. No date but British Library gives 1884 .
