Washington & Cambridge: Nat'l Gallery of Art & Harvard University, 1982. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. Thomas Eakins. Two large volumes in very good sturdy rust color slipcase with light rubs on corners & back. Books bound in beige and brown cloth boards have a few light wrinkles at the spine. Paintings by American artist Eakins (1844-1916) gained recognition only after his death. Illustrated in color and b/w. 336 and 357 pages, index. First volume has two stickers on front pastedown of the Association of American Publishers honorable mention awards. Heavy set, extra postage required for priority mail.
