BOOK INFO: The story of a family of European origin who experienced the gold and silver condition in the place that was known as the Panama Canal Zone. The Panama Canal Zone. These are the memoirs of a tailor of Panama. In the first chapter, he relates the story of the living conditions that he and his family endured. Even though his family had to struggle against odds that would seem impossible to overcome, they were able to subdue the monster of penury and hardship to finally find their way out of the jungle of poverty. The second chapter depicts memories of Folks River, his years of adolescence, and the march of coexistence with loyal friends throughout these long years. It also portrays his years of apprenticeship, when he worked as a journeyman tailor. The third chapter covers his marriage to Maria Teresa and the birth of their daughter Sandra. It also includes the opening of the Donadio Tailor Shop and the births of his other four children, Marcela, Guillermo, Francisco, and Rogelio. The fourth chapter describes his business trips and the achievements of the tailor shop, his professional triumphs, his grandchildren, and other events that have transpired in his life.
