About This Item

New York: America Press / Fordham University, 1971. Hardcover. Very good-. 30 bound volumes containing about 120 issues of "Thought," a sophisticated Catholic journal of theology, philosphy, and the arts. Contributors are too numerous to list, but they include the great Catholic thinkers of the mid-20th century. While the journal ran from 1926 to 1990, and so this collection is incomplete. However, each volume included appears to be complete, and well over half of the run from 1926 to 1971 is present. Complete volumes included here are 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 44, 45, 46. Ex-library with some markings, but mostly clean internally, and firmly bound; a sturdy set, very suitable for reading or reference. Shipping may incur extra charges; particularly overseas.

About Cleveland Book Company

We are proud members of the ABAA.

As a small, independent bookseller in Cleveland, Ohio, I deal in general used, rare, and antiquarian books, autographs, manuscripts, pamphlets, and personal and family papers in all subjects. My family has been in the antiquarian book business since 1971. Are you moving, downsizing, or doing some spring cleaning? Did you inherit or otherwise come into some old books? Or, maybe you've collected modern novels from the last thirty or fifty years. No matter what kinds of books you have, we'd love to take a look at them! We travel throughout Ohio, western Pennsylvania and New York, southern Michigan, and eastern Indiana, and will travel farther in some cases to look at whole libraries or even just a few particularly interesting books. Give us a call at (216) 352-3940 and we can talk more about the kinds of books you have.
