NY: Christos Christou Press, 1963 total printing 50 copies, This is one of "approximately 20 copies James Merrill added watercolors of a moon on the first page and a sun on the last page of text". Printed label on front cover, 18 pages, stapled. Inscribed by James Merrill on the front flyleaf: "H.M from J.M.". spine slightly faded, else a near fine copy of this fragile publication, one of Merrill's more elusive titles, privately printed, none of which were offered for sale. First edition, deluxe issue--limited to "approximately 20 copies". Also included is a signed letter from the author quoting the last page of this volume with a slightly different text.This is a wonderful and unique collector's piece.
