About This Item
Portland, OR: Dead Angel Press, 1971. First edition. Hardcover. Very good. A volume of poems by Cauble with artwork by Linda Neufer, published in an edition of 250 letterpress copies. The illustrations are mounted photographs of paintings. An interesting example of the letterpress poetry movement in the 1970s. First edition (first printing). A very good copy, mostly because of the poor materials used in the manufacture. The glue for the illustrations has discolored the paper and several of them have come loose (all are present, however). This copy is bound in maroon cloth, which also has darkened areas from the glue. On the last page is an inscription from the author (not signed, however). "Book 19. Magick edition, handbound, early morning 2-11-72 for Stephen Goode.
