About This Item

(Dover, Delaware): (Bottle of Smoke Press), (2006). First printing. 5.5 x 8.5 inches. Small broadside, printed letterpress on textured cover stock. A fine copy, inscribed by the author.

Included in Bottle 4, the fourth collection of broadsides issued by Bottle of Smoke, this is likely from overrun copies provided to the author, and is inscribed to Soheyl Dahi of Sore Dove Press: “Soheyl Thanks for the good words — w/out end” — a nice link between the two kindred publishers. Griffin has dated the inscription “4/29/07 Spec’s” — presumably Specs’ bar in North Beach (properly Specs’ Twelve Adler Museum Cafe), the famed Beat and counterculture hangout.
