Complete original printing of the 22 volume set published between 1915 and 1921 (volume 1 has no publication date). Dark red covers with gold lettering on spine and "The Times" logo on front cover. All vols except 1 and 9 are covered in pebbled leather; vol 1 has leather spine and corners, cloth boards; vol 9 is all cloth. All Very Good or Very Good Minus except: vols 3&5 rear edge of spine worn through; vol 9 ex lib; vol 10 chips missing from spine; vol 12 spine very worn, slight dampstain and rather severe rippling to upper couple of inches of page edges; vol 16 slight dampstain and rather severe ripping to upper quarter of pages; vol 18 missing top 1 inch of cover on spine; vol 20 back cover bows out due to improper storage; vol 21 half of rear edge of spine worn through; vol 22 upper half of cover over spine is missing (piece with title and volume number is laid in), most of lower edge of spine worn through and loose. All have sound binding. No marks or writing (except vol 9 has rather mild ex library markings). Shipped in 3 boxes.
