Story of the iconic ocean liner that sank in the North Atlantic in April 1912 after hitting an iceberg. Bodies of many of the victims were recovered and taken to Halifax, Nova Scotia, for identification and burial. Combines newspaper accounts of the disaster, passengers' individual stories, and families' local memorials. There are 3 cemeteries, particularly Fairview Lawn Cemetery, where Titanic victims are buried. 155 pages, b/w photos throughout. Slight curl to front cover, previous owner's name & stamp on contents page.
