SIGNED by the photographer to the title page in thick black ink. First printing, first edition. 116pp. Published in collaboration with Medicines Sans Frontieres. Text in French. The oversized paperback has no interior markings or damage. Very good condition. This is a very early publication by Salgado which was the result of a 15 month stint in the Sahara photographing starving refugees. [Together with] a Sebastio Salgado signed stiff gallery card 5 X 8 inches in size. Gallery card is beautifully printed.
