In the 1980s, the Finnish poet Arto Kytöhonka (1944-1992) was also one of the pioneers in the use of microcomputers among writers. He translated the interfaces of some programs into Finnish, developed a poetry generator, and wrote a word processing guide for ordinary computer users.

Kimmo Kaivanto [born Tampere 1932] is a Finnish painter, printmaker and sculptor. His work was first shown in Tampere in 1956 and in the 1970s he became a leading Finnish sculptor. He received the Pro Finlandia medal in 1972 and was Artist of the Year in 1982.
