Top edge stained red, illustrated endpapers, illustrated frontispiece, illustrations. Lightly edgeworn, the dust jacket is chipped and edgeworn with some soiling to the edges of the inner flaps. "The title story of this volume takes Tom, Huck and the darky Jim across the Atlantic in a balloon. The boys, accidentally in sole possession of the machine, fly over the Sahara desert, and 'roost' on a pyramid to 'argufy' in the best hilarious Twain manner". Pseudonym of Samuel L. Clemens.
