Bound in the publisher's original cloth. Written by British author and lawyer, John William Brodie-Innes, who was a leading member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a secret society devoted to the study of the occult and metaphysics. 'The Tragedy of Indiscretion' is the remarkable tale of Ronny Warrington who performs a small "indiscretion" of surreptitiously whisking away the married Mrs Greville for a romantic weekend, leading to a series of mishaps and coincidences when she unexpectedly dies. With a newspaper clipping containing a review of the novel, loosely inserted. Bound in the publisher's original cloth. Externally, very good, with light bumping to the extremities and the odd mark to cloth. Spine has darkened a little. Rear hinge is strained, with cords visible. Light offsetting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages. Very Good
