The first UK edition, preceded by the true first US edition of 1915. Understandably without the scarce dust wrapper. Novel by Sinclair Lewis concerning the developing life of protagonist Carl Ericson. Sinclair Lewis was an American writer and playwright, the first US author to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1930. His works were often critical of American capitalism and materialism during the interwar period. Rebacked with the original spine and boards restored. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
