The author's name is usually stated as Ernest Thompson Seton. He is known for several books relating to wild animals. His daughter, Anya Seton, also became a well-known author. Seton was instrumental in the Woodcraft organization (Birch Bark Roll) as well as the Boy Scouts, and served many years as Naturalist to the Government of Manitoba. 93 pp..
