Cartheuser, whose seances are featured throughout the volume, to Mrs. Ethel Higley, a sitter in one of the recorded sessions. Green cloth stamped in gilt (still bright) with pictorial title on front cover. Very slight wear to covers. Light sticker-abrasion on front paste-down; minor soiling to fore-edge of one page, else interior is clean and unmarked. Frontispiece portrait of the newly deceased Robert Newton Pincock. 396 pages. A record of seances conducted by the medium William Cartheuser (1890-1966), most of which took place in St. Catharines, Ontario in 1928 and 1929. The specific date and location of each seance is provided, along with the name of the medium and of each of the sitters and the conditions of the sitting.
