A Yverdun: N.p., 1768. First Edition First Printing . Leather Bound. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. 16mo. 332 pages. Hardcover bound in early full speckled calf with raised bands and gilt tooling on the spine. Binding housed in a modern removable clear mylar jacket. Moderate rubbing and wear to the binding. Hinges sound; headcap of the spine is chipped. The binding is rubbed and abraded at the fore edges. Marbled endpapers and all edges marbled. Text is toned and is generally clean. Not an illustrated work. Text is in French. A translation of the title into English is, "Treatise on the Planting and Cultivation of the Principal Vegetable Plants, Collected from the English Dictionary.
