Paris: Bachelier, 1837. Half-Leather. Very Good. Octavo. Eighth edition, 253pp., 1 folding chart, 3 folding plates, several textural charts; bound in contemporary half straight-grained morocco over marbled paper covered baords, red morocco spine label gilt, spine ruled in gilt; light brown endpapers, all edges marbled. Small loss at spine head, neat owner's inscription in French to front free endpaper dated 1849. Plates are clean and bright; text with just a trace of foxing on a few leaves. A very good copy.
