London: Archibald Constable and company, 1907. First edition (hardback). 8vo (23cm by 15cm), xix, 502pp. Frontispiece and 8 plates. Original blue cloth, gilt titling to the front board and the spine, top edge gilt. The boards are a little rubbed, and there is foxing to the preliminary pages and the edges of the text block; overall, this book is in good to very good condition. Signed and inscribed by the author.
