Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 236pp. In grey-green cloth covered boards with gilt title on spine (boards are strong, clean and square, very gently rubbed along lower edge). Internally neat, clean and tight, pages are tanning. In its original dust jacket (faded, bumped at edges, some shelf wear). Analysis of the causes and consequences of the 1987 coup d'etat, when the newly-elected Fijian Government was forcibly removed from a sitting of parliament and deposed by a military coup conducted by the Royal Fiji Military Forces; and what led to a second military coup a few months later.
