About This Item
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1927. Copyright 1927, this copy undated but more likely late 1930s or early 1940s. Illustrated with eight lovely color plates. Bright green cloth lettered in gilt, color illustrated dustjacket. The book would be very good other than darkened joints likely caused by the binder's glue, also causing unevenly darkened endpapers, light shelfwear with a tiny chip to the spine head, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [100100] and is very good with some light shelf soil to the white rear panel, small chip to lower edge of rear panel, tiny chip to spine head, very little paper loss.. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
