About This Item

Boston: Little, Brown, 1938. First Edition; “Arundel Edition”; one of 1075 numbered copies signed by Roberts and Wyeth. From the estate of Roberts’s Doubleday editor, Malcolm Johnson. Bound in full red morocco by the French Binders, Garden City. The extra suite of plates is bound in at the back. There is water staining along the bottom margins of the first half of the text, at its worst in the first couple of dozen pages, but it is barely noticeable at some other points.
