Illustrated exhibition book for ''Triceracopter,'' Patricia Renick's sculpture of a modified helicopter, conceived in the aftermath of the Vietnam War, and reflecting the themes of obsolescence and the impact of technology on our sensibilities. The exhibition was held at the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center from December 15, 1977 through January 28, 1978. This was Renick's second exhibited zoomorphic vehicle, the first being her Stegowagen-volkssaurus, which was a modified 1964 Volkswagen Beetle that was displayed in 1974 and 1975, inspired by the fossil fuel crisis of the early seventies. Patricia A. Renick (1932-2007) was an American sculptor and for 31 years a Professor of Fine Arts at the University of Cincinnati. In 2003, the International Sculpture Center awarded her with the Outstanding Sculpture Educator award.
