The first and only edition of this work.A very scarce work.In the original unclipped dustwrapper.A thrilling mystery novel set in interwar Queensland.Written by Peers Elliott. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, generally smart. Light marks and discolouration to the boards and spine. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Boards are a little sprung. Numerical ink to the recto to the front endpaper. Dustwrapper is discoloured with some spots and marks. Edgewear to the dustwrapper causing chips to the head and tail of the spine, and some small closed tears. Two chips are tape repaired to the reverse of the dustwrapper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. 'File Copy' stamp to the half-title, with ink to the tail of the half-title. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
