Known as Pawnee Bill but also was titled White Chief of the Pawnees, Wild West Showman, Last of the Land Boomers. He was Buffalo Bill's rival and then partner in the production of spectacular Wild West shows, as defender if the Pawnee Indians, and as cowboy, posseman, and buffalo hunter. He became a prime figure in the dime novels which were prevalent at the turn of the century. A clean very presentable copy.
