About This Item
London: Readers Library, 1926. Photoplay edition issued to coincide with the British release of the silent film starring Colleen Moore, Warner Oland, Kenneth Harlan, and Tully Marshall. Moore stars as an impoverished young girl in London’s Limehouse district who is a talented dancer who manages to find love with a prize fighter who saved her from a suicide attempt. Very good plus copy with a hint of use in a very good bright dust jacket with a trace of darkening to the spine and some small chips and tears. The jacket has a lovely wraparound color illustration of Twinkletoes dancing outside for an audience of children, a sweet dog, and a piano player on the front panel while an assortment of other adult neighbors look on at the rear panel.
