In original green publisher's binding, stamped in black and gold, with title in gilt on spine, all edges red; black coated endpapers; [2], 249pp. Gentle exterior wear, especially at joints, but tight, square, and internally very clean: Very Good. Harte wrote stories about Gold Rush-era California. BAL 7309.
