About This Item

RARE.
Presumably first thus.

20 p.; ill.; with 33 1⁄3 RPM record. French language. Red hardcover album with gilt lettering to cover, a pocket inside with a profusely illustrated softcover book, including its original dust jacket, and an opening in the side for the vinyl record.
Ex-library, the cover shows some scratches and general wear, plus sticker residue from library sticker to spine, and the record slot has a small crack at the bottom corner, similarly at heel of spine (see images). There are some library numbers in pen to the inside of rear cover of album and the title page in the book. The dust jacket has a few small closed tears/edgewear.
The record appears to be in very good condition, but we are unable to test the record at this time and make no guarantees as to its playability. If required, please contact us for further images or video footage of the record in different lighting conditions. If you are definitely interested in purchase, but only on the condition that it is guaranteed, let us know and we will attempt to have it professionally verified.

The book contains detail images from a sculptural tympanum of the Autun Cathedral in France, accompanied by information, quotes, and lyrical pieces.

The record can be previewed at the Bibliothèque nationale de France: https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k8811872c

RARE.
