Washington, D.C., 1922. unbound. 1 page, 10.25 x 8 inches, Washington, D.C. January 11, 1922. In this warm note signed "Wm. H. Taft," the former President agrees to see the son of a former colleague when he comes to Washington, in part: "...I remember your father very well as one of the members of that brilliant Bar of Louisville as I knew it, when I was on the Circuit Court of Appeals..." Usual folds and one diagonal crease; small darkened area in the lower left corner. Very good(-) condition.<br/><br/>
