Lawrence Monsanto Ferlinghetti (March 24, 1919 â February 22, 2021) was a justifiable powerhouse in American poetry but also a painter, a social activist, and more importantly, the co-founder of City Lights Booksellers and Publishers. This is an odd and wonderful fever dream epic poem taking on Richard Nixon.
