New York: Harper & Brothers, Publishers, 1854. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Slate-grey cloth covers with gilt lettering to spine. Gilt ship design on spine and front board. Boards are worn with open corners. Exterior hinges cracked and spine backstrip is chipped/peeling at edges (lettering not affected). Interior hinges good. Binding tight. Penciled writing on endleaves; only occasionally in text margins. Endsheets soiled. Text pages crisp and bright with minimal foxing/moisture stains. Frontispiece and plates protected by tissue guards. Also contains several in-text illustrations. Full refund if not satisfied.
