A detailed history of the Goths, from the early history and the beginnings of Christianity among the Goths, through the persecutions of 370-375, and the Gothic Bible, to the decline of the Gothic churches in the East, Italy, Gaul, and Spain. With a biographical sketch of Ulfilas, the Christian bishop and missionary who evangelized the Goths and wrote the earliest translation of the Bible in the German language. Written by Charles Archibald Anderson Scott, a British theologian. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and light rubbing to the extremities. Fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Very Good
