Extract from "Le Arti rassegna bimestrale dell' Arte Antica e Moderna," anno I, fascicolo IV, April-March XVII. Stamp of Dept. of Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology, Bryn Mawr College, at foot of front wrapper. Handwritten call number at head of spine on front wrapper. Inscribed at head of front wrapper: "Mit herzlichen Gruss." Ranuccio Bianchi Bandinelli (1900-1975) was an Italian archeologist and art historian who specialized in the study of Roman art. In this offprint he discusses the Maestro of Trajan, creator of the famous Column of Trajan. Scarce. In Very Good- Condition: scraped along spine; lightly creased; former owner markings on front wrapper; otherwise, clean and bright.
