First published in 1923, this volume includes seven tales, including 'The Flaw in the Crystal', and 'The Token'.With full page and vignette illustrations throughout by Belgian writer and painter Jean de Bosschere.A significant collection of supernatural fiction by popular British writer and active suffragist May Sinclair. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail. Boards bright. Discolouration to back strip. Front hinge, and tail of rear hinge, strained, but firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages age toned to perimeters due to paper type, but clean. Very Good
