London: Dean & Munday, n.d. c.1840. 7 hand-coloured plates with facing verse. 4to original green pictorial wrappers. Corner chip to upper wrapper, old paper tape repairs to lower wrapper, some creasing, some leaves with early re-margining, some chipping. Re-spined with grained skiver in 1891 when this, together with 20 other children's books of c. 1840's were bound together in one volume. Rare, only 1 copy cited by Copac (British Library). Anon.
