BH6 - A tight, clean, sound reinforced binding copy with minor overall shelf wear with some light tape staining on the outside board surfaces and front and back free endpapers from where the dust jacket was taped to the boards plus there are the usual library stamps, label, and pocket on the title page, page 91, and back free endpaper. The dust jacket shows minor overall shelf wear with some very light fading on the spine and along the top edges of the front and back covers plus there is a library label on the spine plus it is still in the original library mylar sleeve. A young adult history of the 200 year history of interaction, friendship, and conflict between France and the United States. The author traces the sequence of historical relations between the two countries and uses to provide insights into the nature of the Franco-American relationship.
