About This Item

New York, N.Y.: An Ace Book, 1968. Reprint. Mass Market PaperBack . Very Good. Very good+ overall. Mild toning at margins. Dust stained textblock edges, issued with pumpkin stained edges. One small black sharpie dot top text. I am not certain how to identify these Ace mass market originals, but this is clearly NOT a first because mere months prior to issuing this version of Peter Leslie's The Unfair Fare Affair, Ace issued a different version as #16 with different action photo pose of David McCallum as Illya Kuryakin. Peter Leslie (1922 - 2007) wrote novels based upon televsion shows almost exclusively, The Avengers, The Invanders and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Leslie also published three horror novels featuring a character named Father Hayes, which as far as I am aware was not a television series character. .(156 pages plus four page list of available Ace titles.)
