About Turtleman Used Books Washington, United States

Biblio member since 2018

Thanks for visiting Turtleman Books.

Turtleman Used Books in Olympia, WA opened on August 1st of 2022. Address is 108 22nd Ave SW, Olympia, WA 98501. Suite #4. This is a small shop, so some books may only be displayed online, others only displayed in the store. Come on by if you are in town. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

About shipping: For domestic shipping, I have included the cost of shipping oversized books into the list price. In the case of expedited shipping, the scheduled prices are an estimate and may need to be higher for oversized books and multibook sets. If the cost of expedited shipping is substantially less than the charged price, I will issue a reduction. For international shipping, the best bet is using Biblio's export consolidation center. This however only works for books that will ship at less than four pounds (1.81 kg). I have marked most of my heavier books as "not available for international shipping", but this is not exactly true. International shipping is incredibly expensive but is available. My shipping fee schedule for international orders outside of the export center is nothing more than a guess and will be adjusted up or down upon ordering depending on the actual costs. Contact me at turtlemanbooks@gmail.com if you have questions.

All my photographs are of the actual product, taken by my trusty little Kindle Fire. Currently we have over 3100 books offered for sale online, with more being added daily. Check back frequently to see what's new. -----

Terms of Sale:

30 day return guarantee, with full refund including original shipping costs for up to 30 days after delivery if an item arrives misdescribed or damaged. Buyer responsible for return postage. Due to recently enacted packaging rules, I cannot ship to Germany. (Too expensive.)

Reader reviews for Using Strata for Quantitative Analysis

From the publisher

Using Stata for Quantitative Analysis, Second Edition offers a brief, but thorough introduction to analyzing data with Stata software. It can be used as a reference for any statistics or methods course across the social, behavioral, and health sciences since these fields share a relatively similar approach to quantitative analysis. In this book, the author teaches the language of Stata from an intuitive perspective, furthering students' overall retention and allowing a student with no experience in statistical software to work with data in a very short amount of time. The self-teaching style of this book enables novice Stata users to complete a basic quantitative research project from start to finish. The Second Edition covers the use of Stata 13 and can be used on its own or as a supplement to a research methods or statistics textbook.
