[Albuquerque]: University of New Mexico Press, 1973. First Paperback Edition. Paperback. Very Good. Slim quarto [25.5 cm] Illustrated wraps. Wraps a bit toned; rear wrap lightly soiled. Van Deren Coke (1921-2004) was a photographer, curator, and art historian whose work evoked a surrealist style. He studied photography in New York at the Clarence White School of Photography and continued his education under Ansel Adams in the 1950s.
