Large format paperback edition with heavy coated stock cover and extended and illustrated French flaps. Published by The National Gallery of Art of Washington D.C. , in association with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Harry N. Abrams Publishers. Like all books published by Abrams, this is a high quality catalog of one of the most successful van Gogh exhibitions ever. Printed on Lumisilk matte by Arnoldo Mondadori Editori of Verona Italy. Seventy of van Gogh's works are presented in beautiful full color. Included are long time favorites such as Wheatfield with Crows and The Potato Eaters, as well as lesser known though no less accomplished works such as The Vicarage at Neunen, The Zouave, and several self portraits.
This copy shows only a few dots of age spotting on the first flyleaf - a photo of that page is posted. No other major wear to report, no creases to marks to the cover or spine. This is not a remainder copy, not a library discard. No writing on the text. The binding is tight and square. A beautiful copy. This will be mailed out in a sturdy box.
