The binding is very lightly bumped & rubbed with the spine slightly faded. 49 pages plus catalog illustrated with profuse black- and-white reproductions of works by Van Gogh, and colophon. Also with a color frontispiece. There is some foxing to the prelims. Very good. <p>First edition, limited to 4,000 copies.<p>With an introduction and notes selected from the letters of the artist, edited by Alfred H. Barr, Jr.
