MCA Music Corporation Of America, NY, . Circa 1945 MCA Records 8" x 10" glossy publicity photograph of "The Three Suns," popular musical trio formed in 1939 by brothers Al and Morty Nevins and cousin Artie Dunn. The Three Suns wrote and scored their first big number "Twilight Time" in 1944, at the time a purely instrumental track. Later, legendary songwriter and producer Buck Ram wrote lyrics for the tune and made it into a huge Platters hit, selling over 4 million copies and winning a Gold Record. The Suns brought suit for copyright infringement but lost, succeeding only in having their names added to the writing credits. The photo is inscribed and signed to "The Bachelors," a popular trio of the day formed by Ralph Wolf in 1944. The inscription, in Morty Nevins’ hand, reads, "To The Bachelors: Good luck to a fine trio. Sincerely, Al, Artie, Morty." It was Morty Nevins who wrote "Twilight Time." Brother Al later teamed up with Don…
