A collection of writings on art and essays written over a period of twenty years, including topics such as 'Ancient American Art' and 'The Art of Florence'. Roger Fry was an English painter and critic and member of the Bloomsbury Group. He published many art critic books during his career. With the original paper wraps bound in. Rebound in quarter calf with marbled boards. Externally, very smart. There is some light rubbing to the spine and some light bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some light age toning. Near Fine
