New York: Grosset & Dunlap Publishers, 1923. Hardcover. Fair/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. vi, 300pp., (xiv). Volume is ever so slightly cocked, with medium shelf wear, as well as a little heavier wear to corners of boards and light wear and a touch of soiling to remainder of cloth. Small rubbed area to cloth over spine. Light wear and medium soiling to edges of pages. Mild tanning to paper. Previous owner's info. in ink to first page, else, no writing to text. Dust-jacket is missing several pieces and admits to short tears and small chips to extremities, with some general light soiling and minor creasing to jacket. Some browning in places to dust-jacket. In an archival quality plastic dust-jacket cover, this remains an attractive copy. Pen inscription reads: "June 12, 1928 Mr. Joseph Carter Trout Run Pa.
