Walt Disney's Bambi

This is a great condition copy of Walt Disney's "BAMBI" with original dust jacket. 1942; Grosset & Dunlap; New York. The book features both color and black & white illustrations throughout; illustrated end papers in color. From the dust jacket: "To this story of Bambi, the forest deer - one of our best-loved modern classics - Walt Disney has brought his own magic touch of charm and fantasy. How Bambi learns to stand on his long wobbly legs and to frolic in the meadow with his friends; how he becomes aware of MAN and discovers that life can be dangerous; and how he finally grows up to become Prince of the Forest and to take Faline as his mate, is retold with all the gaiety, tenderness, and simplicity of the original Felix Salten story."

Condition:
The only condition issue with the book is that there is a 1" ding at the top edge of the front cover...otherwise, the covers are clean with sharp corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. The inside of the book appears unread - the pages are clean with no issues found. Overall the book is in Near Fine condition. Nice dust jacket with only some light soiling and small tears along the perimeter. Overall the dust jacket is in Very Good+ condition.
