Alan Young worked with the most famous talking horse, Mister Ed, one of the most beloved television shows of all time. He is also known for his role of Filby, opposite Rod Taylor in the classic film version of H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine (1960) directed by George Pal, and has appeared in such motion pictures as Mr. Belvedere Goes to College, Aaron Slick from Punkin Crick, and Androcles and the Lion. With biographical information about Carl Barks, a bibliography, Uncle Scrooge checklist, afterword by Gary Kurtz, and more. In 1952 Alan Young received two Emmy’s for ‘The Alan Young Show.’ Russi Taylor has also been the voice of Phantasma the Phantom in the 1988 tv-movie Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School, and as various characters on The Simpsons series, including Martin Prince, Sherri, Terri, and Uter, Pebbles Flintstone in The Flintstones Comedy Show for Hanna-Barbera in 1979 and others.
