Augusta, 1863. unbound. 1 page, 8.25 x 9.75 inches, Augusta, no date, circa 1863 -- an extremely scarce Confederate States of America ordnance form, not filled in, but boldly signed in brown iron galt ink: "W.A. Wright - 1st Lt- Art. & Ord. Officer, Post - Augusta, Ga." Light staining along of of the folds; still very good condition.<br/> <br/> Iin the summer of 1864, Wright fortified the Augusta arsenal, but Sherman bypassed Augusta, sparing the city from certain destruction. Wright arrived in Augusta in July 1864 and left in October.<br/> <br/>
