The War of the Flea analyzes guerilla warfare as a strategy of persistant, small attacks that wear down a larger, conventional enemy. Taber argues that guerillas, like fleas, exploit the enemy's vulnerabilities by being ubiqitous and agile. The book illustrates both theory and historical examples particuarly the use of time in protracted struggles.

Robert Taber was an American Journalist and author best known for the influential book The War of the Flea. He witnessed the Cuban revolution firsthand, which heavily informed his analysis of guerilla tactices.

Binding is tight and original. The text block is most clean with some faint staining on both the inside front/back boards. The edges are clean and crisp. All pages are present and in excellent condition. The dust jacket has stains on the inside front and overall has minor wear.
