London: Ward Lock, 1953. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Publisher's maroon boards with gilt spine lettering. Family tree end-papers. Just a hint of spine fading otherwise a near fine copy. In the RARE D/W priced 10/6 net to the inside flap (as called for). The D/W is creased and rubbed at the spine tips and to the top edge of the front panel with a 4.5 cm closed tear to the right hand edge of spine at the base. The D/W is priced 10/6 net to the inside flap (as called for). Unusually the spine of the D/W is not faded. No inscriptions. The 4th Poldark novel. Quite a nice copy.
