[Richmond, VA]: R. F. Walker, 1874. Soft Cover. near Very Good binding. A neat little pamphlet, full of interesting stuff: "Paris, July 12th, 1785. Mr. Jefferson writes to the Virginia Delegates in Congress as follows: '...I have engaged Monsieur Houdon to make the statue of General Washington. For this purpose it is necessary for him to see the General. He therefore goes with Dr. Franklin, and will have the honor of delivering you this himself." (p. 7) 23 pages in original sewn wrappers, the front panel of which is lightly chipped.. The rear panel is present but detached. near Very Good binding.
